Telangana: Mahalakshmi scheme sees 97.20 lakh additional women passengers in three months

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) The Telangana government's Mahalakshmi free bus travel scheme witnessed a significant rise in women passengers during July, August and September 2026, with an additional 97.20 lakh passengers availing the facility compared to the same period last year. According to TGSRTC data, total passenger travel during the three months increased from 3,467.91 lakh in 2025 to 3,565.11 lakh in 2026.
