Karnataka bus fares to go up from Nov 5: Minister

Bengaluru, Nov 1 (UNI) Karnataka Transport Minister Byrathi Suresh on Sunday announced that fares of state-run transport buses would be increased from November 5, with the extent of the hike to be finalised at a meeting on November 4. Speaking to reporters in Chikkaballapur, the minister said a meeting involving officials of the Transport Department and the four state-run transport corporations would be held on November 4 to decide the quantum of the fare revision.
