Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam performed at Tiruchanoor temple

Tirupati, Sep 22 (UNI) The traditional Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was performed at Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru Temple in Tiruchanoor near here on Tuesday as part of preparations for the annual Pavitrotsavams scheduled from September 24 to 26. The temple premises, including walls and ceilings, and puja articles were thoroughly cleansed with water. Sacred water prepared with sandalwood, turmeric, camphor, kumkum, and other fragrant substances was subsequently sprinkled throughout the temple.
