Telangana signs two UK MoUs to modernise textile sector

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) The Telangana government has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the UK-based University of Huddersfield and the Textile Centre of Excellence (TCoE) to promote research, modern technology and international-standard skill development in the state's handloom and technical textiles sectors, State Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms and Textiles Tummala Nageswara Rao announced. The MoU with the University of Huddersfield, signed through the Department of Handlooms and Textiles, aims to promote research and development in technical textiles, joint academic programmes, faculty and student exchanges, and visiting academic appointments.
