KFON initiates preliminary talks to expand connectivity in tribal areas

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 22 (UNI) Preliminary discussions have been initiated under the leadership of Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) to strengthen digital connectivity across the state and extend broadband services to tribal areas where connectivity remains limited. The initiative envisages upgrading the existing network infrastructure and improving the efficiency and reliability of connectivity in remote tribal regions, thereby enabling more people to benefit from digital services. The expansion of internet services in tribal areas is expected to create greater opportunities in education, employment, entrepreneurship and livelihood activities by providing improved access to digital resources.
