Telangana Govt plans additional 60 mgd water supply to Hyderabad amid El Niño concerns

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Tuesday said the government had drawn up measures to ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply to Hyderabad amid anticipated El Niño-related concerns, and urged citizens to conserve water. At a review meeting at the State Secretariat, he said the government planned to mobilise an additional 60 million gallons per day (MGD) from various sources to meet the city's requirements.
