Seethakka appointed to cabinet panel on drought and El Niño

Hyderabad, Oct 19 (UNI) Telangana Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has been appointed as a member of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted to review drought and El Niño conditions in the State and recommend measures to address their impact. The government issued G.O. Rt. No. 1523 to this effect. Seethakka has been focusing on ensuring an uninterrupted supply of drinking water in rural areas, anticipating that El Niño could lead to reduced rainfall and increased pressure on groundwater resources.
