Theatre CCTV footage leak: Kerala Human Rights Commission orders probe

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 23 (UNI) The Kerala State Human Rights Commission has directed the Thiruvananthapuram City Police Chief to place the investigation into the leak of CCTV footage from the state-owned Kairali, Sree and Nila theatres under the supervision of a senior police officer. Commission Chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas issued the directive while considering a complaint over the circulation of footage showing people who visited the theatres on social media, raising concerns over the violation of their privacy.
