TVK functionary among four arrested by DRI, 135 kg drug seized, Stalin calls TVK 'Breaking Bad Party'

Chennai, Oct 17 (UNI) Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has arrested a ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) functionary in Nagapattinam district and seized 135 kg of methamphetamine, a synthetic drug worth several hundred crore rupees, which was meant for smuggling to Sri Lanka. According to reports, N Boopalan (42), an advocate and TVK's Nagapattinam district executive committee member was arrested last evening after DRI officials raided his residence.
