Telangana: RTC union elections should be free of political interference: Kunamneni

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) CPI Telangana State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Sunday demanded that the RTC recognised union elections be conducted freely and democratically without political interference. He expressed confidence that the RTC Employees' Union, backed by AITUC, would win the elections with the support of workers. Addressing a press conference at Makhdoom Bhavan in Himayatnagar, Kunamneni alleged that the ruling Congress was sidelining its affiliated INTUC union while extending support to the Telangana Workers union (TWU).
