Kavitha urges Telangana govt to declare drought-hit mandals, convene special Cabinet meeting

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (UNI) Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) president K Kavitha on Sunday urged the State government to immediately declare drought-affected mandals and convene a special Cabinet meeting to protect farmers and crops. Speaking to the media at the TRS office in Banjara Hills, Kavitha said drought conditions were prevailing across the State, with rainfall deficits of 38 per cent in August and 30 per cent in September.
