Restore SC/ST Finance Corporations in Andhra Pradesh: Chinta Mohan

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and former union Minister Chinta Mohan on Monday demanded the restoration of SC/ST Finance Corporations in Andhra Pradesh, alleging that their closure had adversely affected Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in the state. Speaking to the media at the Press Club in Somajiguda here, Chinta Mohan said Article 46 of the Indian Constitution was intended to promote the educational and economic interests of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other weaker sections.
