Kunamneni demands removal of CEC, raises voter deletion and drought concerns

Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) CPI Telangana State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday accused the BJP-led Central government of weakening democratic institutions and demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of eligible voters being deleted during voter list revision. Addressing a press conference at Makhdoom Bhavan, the CPI state office, he insisted that no voter should be removed without prior notice and an opportunity to present their case.
