Kumaraswamy alleges massive bribery network in Hassan DC office

Hassan, Nov 8 (UNI) union Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Sunday accused the Hassan district administration of running an alleged organised corruption network involving lakhs of rupees in bribes for clearing official files, and demanded an immediate investigation into the role of senior officials and the district incharge minister. Giving a political twist to the allegations, Kumaraswamy released purported WhatsApp conversations of a personal assistant to Deputy Commissioner Latha Kumari, claiming that the chats exposed a chain of bribe collection and distribution involving the DC's office, the Assistant Commissioner, the Tahsildar and other officials.
