Bengaluru, Oct 12 (UNI) Police on Monday detained BJP Mahila Morcha activists who attempted to march towards the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office here, escalating the political confrontation over sexual harassment allegations against Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam. The protesters demanded accountability from the Congress leadership over the allegations against the Lok Sabha member from Manipur, accusing the party of failing to take a firm stand on an issue concerning women's safety and dignity.
