R Sreelekha withdraws resignation move as Thiruvananthapuram Corporation councillor

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 4 (UNI) Former Kerala DGP and BJP leader R Sreelekha has withdrawn her resignation move as Thiruvananthapuram Corporation councillor following intervention by the party leadership, ending the immediate uncertainty over her continuation in the civic body. Sreelekha, who represents the Sasthamangalam ward, deleted the message she had posted in a WhatsApp group informing residents about her decision to resign. The move came after senior BJP leaders held discussions with her as part of efforts to persuade her to reconsider the decision.
