Kishan Reddy slams Congress over SIR protests

New Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday accused the Congress and its allies of politicising the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and targeting constitutional institutions following electoral defeats. Talking to the media in New Delhi, he urged the Congress to use its booth-level agents to identify and rectify errors in electoral rolls instead of staging protests. He said removing deceased and duplicate voters was necessary to maintain accurate electoral rolls.
