AP CM directs officials to take step to check spiraling prices of essential commodities

Vijayawada, Oct 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday directed the officials to take effective measures to prevent the impact of El Niño-induced price rise of essential commodities. During a review meeting at the Secretariat here, he stressed the need to maintain strict vigilance over the prices of essential commodities and directed officials to ensure that the prices of rice, red gram, onions, edible oils and sugar do not rise.
