Woman dies after arm fat-removal surgery: Family alleges medical negligence

Kottayam, Sep 23 (UNI) A 45-year-old woman died while undergoing treatment at a private medical college hospital in Thiruvalla following an arm fat-removal surgery at a private clinic, with her relatives alleging medical negligence. The deceased was identified as V.G. Vidya of Puthupparambil House at Mundukuzhi, Venkotta. Vidya had undergone the fat-removal surgery at a private clinic at Idinjilam in Thiruvalla on September 16. Her health condition deteriorated following the procedure, following which she was admitted to a private medical college hospital in Thiruvalla.
