Madras HC dismisses Janaki son's plea seeking ownership of MGR property in Trichy

Chennai, Sep 26 (UNI) The Madras High Court has dismissed a petition filed by J. Surendran, the son of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran's (MGR) wife V.N. Janaki Ramachandran seeking ownership of MGR's property in Tiruchirapalli. The plea sought ownership and Letters of Administration regarding an immovable property belonging to late MGR located in Trichy. Passing orders, Ms.Justice A.D. Maria Clete dismissed the application on grounds of failure to establish legal succession and noted that a petition for Letters of Administration cannot adjudicate complex property titles.
