Madras HC dismisses as withdrawn, poll plea against MDMK Sirkazhi MLA Senthilselvan

Chennai, Oct 12 (UNI) The Madras High Court on Monday dismissed as withdrawn, an election petition filed against the victory of MDMK MLA Senthilselvan from the Sirkazhi Assembly constituency. Senthilselvan contested the April Assembly election from the Sirkazhi (Reserved) constituency as an MDMK candidate as part of the multi-party DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance on DMK's Rising Sun symbol and got elected with a margin of 11,417 votes.
