AP Govt. to challenge AP HC verdict on BC reservations in local bodies in SC

Repalle, Oct 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu Thursday announced that the government will approach the Supreme Court on the AP High Court's verdict, dismissing the government's decision to provide 34 per cent reservations to the BCs in the rural urban bodies and 33.33 per cent reservations in the urban local bodies in the ensuing elections. The Chief Minister made the statement while participating in the NTR Bharosa pension distribution programme in Repalle in Bapatla district.
