Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Advanced insulin pump technology has helped a 14-year-old boy with Type 1 diabetes improve his glucose control and gain greater independence in daily life, reducing the treatment burden on him and his family, according to doctors at KIMS Cuddles, Secunderabad, here on Friday. Prahasith, from the Warangal region, who has been living with Type 1 diabetes since early childhood, was treated with the Medtronic MiniMed 780G hybrid closed-loop insulin pump system integrated with the Guardian 4 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor.
