Medicine shortage hits Kerala Medical Services Corporation

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 30 (UNI) District Medical Officers (DMOs) have informed the Kerala government that adequate stocks of medicines are available at hospitals in the districts, while shortage is currently being experienced at the storage centres of the Kerala Medical Services Corporation Ltd (KMSCL). Health Minister K Muraleedharan has directed the KMSCL to take immediate measures to replenish the stocks and ensure uninterrupted supply of essential medicines and surgical materials to hospitals.
