Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari leads T'gana govt delegation to Asian Games venue in Japan

Hyderabad/Japan, Oct 1 (UNI) A Telangana government delegation, led by Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari, visited the Asian Games being held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, and observed the conduct of international-level sporting events. The delegation comprised Government Representative A P Jitender Reddy, former Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy and Sports Authority Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Soni Baladevi. During the visit, the delegation observed world-class sports infrastructure, event management practices and facilities being provided to athletes. The visit is expected to provide insights that could help Telangana strengthen its sports infrastructure, improve athlete development programmes and prepare, according to an official statement today.…
