ASME meet calls for people-centric innovation to drive engineering growth

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 25 (UNI) Engineering innovations should focus on improving people's lives and contributing to social welfare and national development, Kerala Minister for Health and Devaswom K. Muraleedharan said at the annual meet of the Keralam Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) India here. The minister, who attended the meet as chief guest, said young engineers and students should assess technology not merely in terms of its capabilities but also by the positive changes it could bring to society.
