Cinema becomes a space to explore politics, social realities: Directors at IDSFFK

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 30 (UNI) The politics, social realities and lived experiences explored through documentary and short films came into focus at the final-day 'Meet the Director' session of the 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) here on Wednesday. The participating filmmakers discussed the ideas and experiences behind their films, besides sharing their perspectives on subjects ranging from traditional performing arts and academic pressures to climate-induced displacement, sporting culture and community identity.
