Kerala opens RDF plant to convert 100 tonnes of waste daily into cement-industry fuel

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 11 (UNI) An advanced Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) plant capable of processing 100 tonnes of waste daily was inaugurated at Muttathara here as part of Kerala's efforts to achieve its zero-waste goal by converting non-biodegradable waste into fuel for cement factories. The plant, established by Clean Kerala Company Ltd, uses scientific waste processing and advanced baling technology to transform discarded materials into a resource for industrial use.
