AP: Rs 1,816 Cr. being spent to bolster power infrastructure: Energy Minister

Anakapalli, Oct 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravikumar has said that the government is spending around Rs. 1,816 crore on strengthening power infrastructure to meet the requirements of industries in the region. The Minister inaugurated the substation, constructed by AP Transco at a cost of Rs 77.29 crore, on Monday at Atchutapuram. The Andhra Pradesh State Government has commissioned a 220-kVgas-insulated substation at Atchutapuram in Anakapalli district, as part of efforts to strengthen power infrastructure in the rapidly industrialising region.
