Telangana Govt ready with action plan to tackle El Niño threat: Dy CM Bhatti Vikramarka

Hyderabad, Oct 28 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said the Telangana government was taking advance measures to tackle rainfall deficit and drought-like conditions arising from the El Niño impact. He said a report on the drought situation had already been submitted to the Centre and the state would seek additional assistance if required. Addressing an all-party meeting at the Secretariat, attended by ministers, senior officials and representatives of various political parties, Bhatti said the government would consider feasible suggestions on drinking water, irrigation, power supply and support for farmers.
