Vijay Sarkar reiterates opposition to NEET for MBBS admissions

Chennai, Nov 4 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu government constituted High powered Task Force on examination reforms committee headed by Nandan Nilekeni along with its members on Wednesday met Chief Minister Vijay during which the government reiterated its opposition to NEET exams for MBBS admissions. During the meeting held at the State Secretariat, it was informed that the Government has clearly expressed its stand against the conduct of NEET or similar examinations for admission to higher education courses and instead 12th Standard marks should be the basis for admission.
