Kakinada: JNTUK FDP stresses continuous learning, interdisciplinary research in mechanical engineering

Kakinada, Sep 26 (UNI) Speakers at a three-day national-level faculty development programme (FDP) at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) stressed the need for continuous learning, technological upgradation and interdisciplinary research in mechanical engineering to prepare students for emerging global and industrial challenges. The programme, organised by the Mechanical Engineering Department of JNTUK College of Engineering on the theme "Mechanical Engineering Frontiers and Applications", concluded on Saturday. Krishna University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ramjee, the chief guest, said mechanical engineering was evolving rapidly and called for continuous study and interdisciplinary research to equip students to meet the demands of industry and research.…
