Mission Samudra to become new engine of Kerala's economic growth: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 16 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Wednesday said Mission Samudra would become a new engine of economic growth by tapping the State's vast maritime potential in areas including cargo movement and tourism. Speaking at a discussion on Mission Samudra on the first day of the three-day 'Reimagining Kerala' round-table conference here, Satheesan said the mission sought to link Kerala's maritime trade legacy, dating back 2,000 years, with emerging opportunities.
