Dipke received funds from USA, Ranka from Pakistan, alleges Jitendra Singh

Bengaluru,Nov 3 (UNI) union Minister Jitendra Singh on Tuesday alleged that Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke received funds from US-based donors, while its co-founder Ashutosh Ranka got financial support from Pakistani politicians and other handlers to fuel anti-government campaigns and manipulate public discourse in India.
"There is sufficient evidence to suggest that these anarchist elements are being funded through unauthorised sources, including anti-India NGOs and organisations operating both within and outside the country. Foreign-funded NGOs, deep-state operatives and anti-India forces are allegedly working together to manufacture and propagate a misleading narrative," he said.
"There are also serious questions about the funding sources of certain self-styled leaders and activists. Dipke has allegedly received funds from US-based donors, while Ashutosh Ranka is alleged to have received financial support from Pakistani politicians and other handlers," Singh said.
He claimed that intelligence inputs and other available information pointed to the involvement of foreign-funded NGOs, deep-state operatives and organisations allegedly working against India's interests in attempts to manufacture narratives against the country. He alleged that such funding is being used to influence public discourse and create anti-government campaigns.
He also defended the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) as a mechanism to regulate foreign funding channels. Calling Dipke and Ranka as "self-styled leaders and activists", Singh said, "Those making these allegations must also explain their own sources of funding and how they mobilise resources to sustain their campaigns. The larger point is that, having lost political ground, these elements appear to be attempting to manufacture a narrative to regain public attention." Singh also accused the Congress of spreading misinformation about electoral processes and making baseless 'vote chori' allegations to protect the political image of its leadership. He cited the NDA's victory in all four Karnataka Legislative Council seats contested through ballot papers to question the opposition party's stand on EVMs.
