Hyderabad cybercrime police arrest two for supplying mule accounts linked to 450 Cases Nationwide

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have arrested two persons for allegedly supplying bank accounts and SIM cards to cybercriminals in exchange for commissions, police said on Sunday. The arrests are linked to a fraud in which a victim was cheated of Rs. 7.93 lakh on the pretext of purchasing an old one-rupee currency note for Rs. 45 lakh, said S. Chaitanya Kumar, in-charge Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad, in a release. The accused, Gumma Ramesh, 39, and Mudale Anil, 19, both residents of Ramanthapur, were apprehended on October 8. Police seized two mobile phones…
