Hyderabad Police arrest man for circulating fake Rs 500 notes in Begum Bazar

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Goshamahal police have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly circulating counterfeit Rs 500 currency notes among petty vendors in Begum Bazar and seized 16 fake notes with a face value of Rs 8,000 from his possession, police said on Sunday. The accused was identified as Vikram, a private employee at Balaji Decors in Hyderabad and a native of Pali district in Rajasthan. He was arrested on September 25 and remanded to judicial custody, according to B Sravan Kumar,Inspector of Police, Goshamahal Police station.
