Cab driver booked for alleged sexual assault attempt, cash theft in Shamshabad

Hyderabad, Sep 28 (UNI) A cab driver allegedly attempted to sexually assault a female passenger and fled with Rs 60,000 in cash in Shamshabad, Ranga Reddy district on Sunday night. According to the complaint, the woman was travelling from Devarakonda, Nalgonda district to Shamshabad when the driver allegedly noticed the cash she was carrying. Near the Thondupally toll plaza, he reportedly deviated from the route and took the vehicle towards a secluded area near Kotwalguda.
