FIR against Karnataka BJP leader over alleged bid to delete 198 voter names

Belagavi, Oct 2 (UNI) A controversy over the alleged misuse of Form-7 applications during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has intensified in Karnataka, with police registering an FIR against BJP leader Ravi Patil and 20-25 others for allegedly attempting to remove the names of 198 voters from the rolls in Belagavi. The FIR was registered at Belagavi Market police station on September 30 on a complaint by Meerasab Sanadi, who was working as a Booth Level Agent in Ward 12 of the Belagavi North Assembly constituency.
