Kakinada police hand over 618 recovered mobile phones worth Rs 1.23-Cr

Kakinada, Sep 30 (UNI) Kakinada district police have recovered 618 lost and stolen mobile phones worth more than Rs 1.23 crore and handed them over to their rightful owners at a function held at the District Police Office here on Wednesday. District Superintendent of Police Bindu Madhav said this was the 13th phase of the mobile phone recovery drive. The phones were traced through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal under Operation Mobi Track, using IMEI tracking, data analysis, and cyber surveillance techniques.
