Telangana Cabinet approves two pending DAs for employees, 5,800 MW green power tenders

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, has approved the release of two pending Dearness Allowance (DA) instalments to government employees, besides taking a series of decisions on power, El Niño preparedness, irrigation, land issues and paddy procurement. Speaking to the media at the Secretariat on Thursday night, Revenue and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the two DA instalments pending since 2024 would impose an additional annual burden of around Rs 2,500 crore on the State exchequer.
