Nodal officers appointed to expedite Adilabad joint-user airport project: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Sep 20 (UNI) union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy on Sunday said nodal officers had been appointed by the Ministries of Defence and Civil Aviation to coordinate with the Telangana government and expedite the proposed joint-user airfield (JUA) at Adilabad. In a post on X, Mr Kishan Reddy said the project envisages an Air Force Training Centre and a joint-user airfield for both civil and defence purposes. He said the Defence Ministry would develop facilities including trainer aircraft infrastructure, aircraft parking and dispersals, weather shelters, hangars, an operational complex, training facilities and maintenance infrastructure.
