Visakhapatnam, Sept 24 (UNI) South Coast Railway (SCoR) detected 46,156 cases and collected Rs 3.56 crore in penalties during a 15-day special ticket-checking drive conducted across the zone from September 7 to 21. The fortnight-long drive was aimed at curbing ticketless and irregular travel and ensuring compliance with railway regulations, including provisions under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act-2026, the railways said in a release here on Thursday.
