AP: GVMC Seals 58 Shops, Imposes Rs4.36 Lakh in Fines for Sanitation Violations

Visakhapatnam, Oct 9 (UNI) The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) sealed 58 shops and imposed penalties totalling Rs4.36 lakh on commercial establishments for sanitation violations during special inspections conducted across the city. GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg said 80 inspections were carried out across all 10 municipal zones on October 8, following directions to take strict action against establishments dumping waste on roads, in drains and at public places.
