AP:Kakinada civic body targets Rs 90 crore tax collection

Kakinada, Nov 7 (UNI) The Kakinada Municipal Corporation has launched a special drive to collect property tax, water tax and vacant land tax arrears, setting a target of Rs 90 crore for the current financial year, Municipal Commissioner NVV Satyanarayana said on Saturday. Reviewing the tax collection drive at a special meeting, the Commissioner said water tax arrears alone had crossed Rs 8 crore and urged residents to clear their dues promptly and cooperate with the civic administration in the city's development.
