Telangana to expand farm mechanisation scheme with Rs 147.99 cr allocation

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao on Thursday said the State government has revived the farm mechanisation scheme and allocated Rs 147.99 crore for 2026-27 to extend its benefits to more farmers. He said Rs 71 crore was allocated in 2025-26, of which Rs 63 crore was utilised. The government was ready to launch the scheme for the current year and was awaiting Central guidelines on beneficiary selection.
