Kavitha lays siege to Singareni Bhavan, sets 60-day deadline to resolve workers' issues

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief and HMS honorary president K Kavitha staged a protest outside Singareni Bhavan at Lakdikapul on Monday, demanding immediate resolution of various issues faced by Singareni workers. Kavitha, accompanied by hundreds of party activists, leaders and HMS representatives, demanded that workers be given 35 per cent of Singareni's profits as bonus and that the government clear the Rs 62,000 crore dues owed to Singareni. She also demanded that the Medical Board meet twice a month, resolve alias-name issues, fill Junior Assistant vacancies and provide jobs to dependents whose appointments were held up…
