New pensions to be disbursed before Dasara: Seethakka

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Tuesday directed officials to expedite measures for the sanction and disbursement of new pensions in October, preferably before the Dasara festival. The Minister instructed officials to speed up field-level verification of applications and ordered that additional staff be deployed wherever necessary to complete the process at the earliest. She also directed SERP CEO Divya Devarajan to take necessary steps to ensure that all eligible applicants, particularly single women and widows, receive pensions.
