AP: Tirupati to be developed as a global wedding destination

Vijayawada, Sep 30 (UNI) Tirupati Economic Region (TER) CEO and Revenue-Excise Special Chief Secretary Mukesh Kumar Meena on Wednesday said that Tirupati would be developed as a global wedding destination by integrating wedding tourism with its existing religious tourism ecosystem. Addressing a press conference here, Mukesh Kumar Meena said that weddings could be developed as a major economic activity by bringing accommodation, transport, catering, decoration, event management, photography, traditional arts, entertainment and other services together at a single destination.
