AP incurred Rs 1,918 Cr. loss due to Murasu cyclone: AP CM

Vijayawada, Nov 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that as per the preliminary assessment, Andhra Pradesh has suffered a loss of Rs 1,918.55 crore due to the Murasu cyclone. The Chief Minister who held a review meeting with the officials of various departments here on Thursday. said that agricultural crops were damaged across 1,43,122 hectares, affecting 1,86,063 farmers. "Horticultural crops suffered damage across 6,749 hectares, impacting 12,586 farmers. A total of 983 houses, 346 boats and 220 fishing nets were also damaged," the chief Minister revealed.
