AP CM meets union Jal Shakti Minister, discusses Polavaram project works

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Thursday met union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil and explained to him the progress of the Polavaram project and the details of the Jal Jeevan Mission-Amarajeevi Jaladhara works recently taken up at a cost of Rs 30,000 crore. The Chief Minister urged the union Minister to ensure the timely release of funds for both projects and to take steps to resolve several long-pending issues concerning Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
